I asked a question a few days ago and everyone said it sounded like I was pregnant. I seriously thought I was. Late period, nauseous, bad gas, back pain, tired. Every sign was there. But I got 3 neg test. Friday night hubby and I had and about 3 hours later I had light pink blood. Now it's bright red with a clear goo (sry tmi) they cramps were pretty bad. It seems to be slowing down. Now I'm 99.9% positive it's not implantation bleeding, it's almost a month since my last period ended (may 6) my sister told me she had a light period when she was pregnant (it was after implantation) I wax kinda thinking maybe a miscarriage (even though neg test) but she said the test would have for sure came positive if I was pregnant. So what do you all think? One minute I still have hope that I am and the next I get all depressed and say there is no way. Need some help please :)

I would go to the hospital. Every woman is different. How fast the progress in labor is different also. With my third child I went into labor around 6 in the morning. I slow poked around and left my house around 7. Getting to the hospital in morning traffic took a little over an hour. The entire time the contractions got worst and felt like I have to poo. I has fighting to hold the baby in. When I got to the hospital they saw the baby head. I counldnt get any pain relief and I had to be cut. The baby was delievered about 8:45.

My 1977 firebird has electrical issues please help?

my battery has 12.8v but as soon as i turn the key to the on position it goes down to about 1. If i turn on the head lights or hit the breaks or anything that uses electricity it drops to below one volt and nothing actually turns on just seems like I'm opening a short. the only things that are getting power are my starter, alternator, the fuse box. ive tried removing most of the fuses and got no results. my radio is conected straight to the battery, i put it in myself and that works fine but when i turn on anything else it just loses power. ive tried jumping it with the same results nothing different.i think theres a short somewhere but it doesnt seem shorted till i turn the ignition or use headlights or hit the breaks for tail lights (there the only things i can use without the ingnition switch on)

Have shot before but now looking to get a rifle of my own?

I'm looking for suggestions on a rifle which would best suit my needs. I've never really shopped around for guns before because until now I didn't really care, I'll shoot what ever my grandfather hands me. I've shot rifles on about a dozen different occasions over the last 5 or so years. I've shot a couple different 22 cal, a 308, and an 8mm before. I've shot only a few hundred rounds in my life. Nothing that I've tried seemed to be too over powering. I'm looking for a smaller caliber riffle some where between the 22 and 308. The 22 seams like the logical choice because of the price of ammo and because most would say it is the best gun to learn on. I'm also considering something a little bigger because I might want to hunt medium sized game next year. For now the gun would be used strictly for perfecting my aim. In the fall if I feel comfortable with my shooting ability I might hunt small game like squires or rabbits. I would like to be all set up with everything I would need for under $500. What rifles should I consider?

Why is hurting me so badly?

Fuse box(es) on a 1986 Pontiac Firebird (2.8L V6)?

I have a 1986 V6 2.8L Firebird that has some problems--the A/C doesn't work, the engine doesn't start with the key (previous owner fixed up a toggle switch, turn key to "on" and hit the switch to start the car. Yes it is the correct key for the car as well), and the cooling fans don't turn on when needed (another previous-owner toggle switch solution). I was told to check the fuses/relays for the components that don't work, but the only fuse box I can find, in the dashboard, doesn't have all the fuses that I'm looking for. Is there another fuse box under the hood that I'm just dumb with and can't find? Some other problem? Serious answers only please--no "scrap it" or "buy another car" responses. Thanks for any help :)

Just changed the oil... and some issues....?

I drained and filled my 99 V6 firebird with 10w30 GTX oil. The manual says 4.5 qts. So i filled it up until half a qt was left in the 5 qt container. Started it up, and now the oil pressure is about 80 psi. Way higher than normal. Also, when it's warmed up, the oil is wayy higher than full on the dipstick. Why? I added 4.5 qts just like it said to.

2nd Membrane sweep today, terrible back contractions?

I'm 38 weeks and 2 days today, and I had my second membrane sweep about 3 hours ago. I had one last thursday, and it didn't do anything really. I've had contractions for the last 2 weeks, and I was 1 centimeter and a half at my last app. now I'm almost 2. My OB still says she can't quite fit 2 fingers in, but she stretched me the best she could. After for about 2 and a half hours I had really bad contractions and horrible back pain, and I'm still getting back pain, and I feel not so much hungry as I do thirsty (my contractions were so bad I couldn't finish my dinner, I just drank fluids) Then I had a really good poop (sorry if tmi) then I peed, and that relieved some of the pressure I was having, but I'm still having back pain. My OB said that if my water was going to break today, while she was stretching, it probably would have happened, but after my first sweep, I didn't have any contractions or back pain like this. Will I go into labour soon??? or will my water break?? Mucus plug is gone for a few days now, might have gotten a little bit more earlier after I pooed, but most came out the other day. I am buying a new used car. I am considering either an explorer sport or firebird. I live in pa near phily. I live in the country not in a city. Snow can get real bad here during 4 months out of the year. Would the 4wd of the explorer be worth getting for the few storms we get over those months. I have a trailblazer that just died on me and got pretty heavy use out of it's 4wd this past winter. My family says that 4x4's don't make a real difference unless you are already stuck. Would snowtires on a firebird get me through a bad pa winter? I do know ground clearence is also a factor. Just as a side note. My work did not close during a declared state of emergency and I was expected to still come in so I would quite likely have to drive even on unplowed roads.

Help! Possible miscarriage?

the only way to ask this is to get a little graphic and give TMI... sorry.... for me a normal menstrual cycle is 28 days (exactly a month from the first day of the last period) and lasts five days, with spotting on the first day and cramps non stop on the second day that gradually get worse throughout the day then fading away by bedtime. between my last cycle and now, i have had some pregnancy symptoms. i took 2 HPT both turned out negative but at first a real faded line did appear then disappeared on both as quick as it showed. the day of my expected period, it didn't come. the next day had very little pink/brown spotting that would come and go. this took place for 2 days which is not my norm. on the 3rd day i started to bleed heavier, started to have bad cramps that would come and go in my lower abdomen and lower back, and then i past a clot about the size of a dime. it was real dark red almost black in color with a lighter red fleshy like thing attached to it. (not at all like a normal clot, it wasn't goo like or make any jello like movements, it was more or less solid.) since then bleeding has been mucus like and not real heavy, cramps have pretty much gone away. is it possible that i experienced a miscarriage? is it possible to know if you miscarried that early? has anyone else experienced this and was it a miscarriage or strange cycle?

38 weeks pregnant, is this normal?

first off, this is my third pregnancy, but I feel so different this time around. I'm just curious, over the last 4 days or so, I've been absolutely unable to sleep, no matter how tired I am. I lay there staring at the ceiling...then when I do fall asleep, I have to wake up every hour basically to pee. I have incredibly intense hip/sciatic nerve pain... or feelin like I have to poop (tmi, sorry) but I can't. I also get these strange pains in my tail bone or spine area anyways, that seem to shoot up into my neck even, which is a new feeling. Just curious if this is normal, with EXTREME fatigue to the point of having no energy at all to even move through the day?

I've been friends with this guy since I was 13. Well, he's kinda feminine and he's also biual (and dating a guy). Don't get me wrong, he is my BEST friend and I love him like a brother. I bought a 69 Firebird to fix up. I am trying to decide if it is worth it or not to purchase a welder and do the work myself or just pay to have it done for me. I have been too busy at work to eat let alone make calls around to auto body shops for estimates. I, for sure, need an 80% quarter welded on (came with the car), outer wheel well, driver side floor pan (just by feet if that matters) and driver side firewall extension. How much would a shop charge for the labor? I am looking at a Hobart 140 MIG, cart, gloves, and helmet for say $700 shipped (sears.com)…and a grinder for under $100-150 with discs and misc. stuff. So that’s $750-800 in tools…is that close to what I would pay in labor? If I did it myself I would have a welder and some more tools to add to my collection. Anything I am not considering? Opinions? First, the baby is just a little peanut floating around in there anyways, and second, you said you arent bleeding or spotting. However if you do, call your doctor. 87 firebird trans am 305eng 700r4 trans?

put a 700r4 in from a 86 camaro berlinetta (supposedly), in my 87 firebird trans am. Only problem it shifts way to early. Like 1800 rpms shifting through all gears. I press the tv cable adjustment on and tried sliding the cable all the way into the slider and then let go of the on. Then i turned the throttle lever on the carburator to wot. Test drove. Still no difference. Was this possibly from a v6 or do i need to change the governor, i heard there was like 3 diff ones. Help. I really dont wanna burn this up. Help. Also when im goin speedometer says im goin 55 but actually im only goin 45. Help.

What does it feel like when baby engages?

I'm 39w 5d. I know my baby has dropped. Even though it's my third, it's a first for me, my other 2 didn't as far as I know. But my stomach is now a slope and sits low rather than high and round. I can eat full meals, breath much better, and have to go to the restroom constantly. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. However, the past couple of days, I'm having nonstop pressure/pain in my pelvis/groin, back. It's sharper than an ache but definitely not cramping or contractions. It hurts when I sit and even lay down, and it makes walking so uncomfortable. The pregnant waddle never made more sense to me than it does now! :) By the end of the day, I'm so stiff and sore, I'm near tears sliding into bed. Going to the bathroom is more interesting as well. (TMI) When I go pee, often it trickles a little at a time, or I literally feel her shift a little and I can go. I've been having the same problem with the other. When I have Braxton Hicks the pressure is ten fold and I feel like I need to go to the bathroom then as well. But there is absolutely no pain, just pressure. So I'm curious if it's possible she's engaged or if the -1,-2, stations feel this way as well? I know even if she is that labour is still far off for me, that's just how it goes, but I'm still curious. Oh and I do NOT have a urinary tract infection, just thought I'd mention that as well.

I have a beagle and a cavalier king mix and when I go to take her for a walk it takes forever for her to poop. She will only poop when her leash is touching her (sorry for tmi) she will not poop in our yard. I have tried the spray I have tired walking her around our yard for like two hours and she never poop even though she had to. I have tried chaining her outside and letting her running around and she will not go. I had sex with my partner on my most fertile week and did not end up pregnant. Its all down to timing. And people say when you are trying to get pregnant somtimes it doesnt happen..it happens when you are relaxed and are despritley trying to get pregnant (just a little tip) =) Sprem can live upto 7 days in the vagina and i think the egg only lives for 24 hours. Was this a miscarriage?

A month before finding out I was pregnant last year, I experianced really bad cramps, I couldnt sit, stand, or even lay down without being in such pain! I was on my period and used a tampon, but when I went to change the tampon I ped a clot, but it wasnt dark dark red like regular clots look like, it was just weird, not like normal....after ping that, I felt so much better! The clot wasnt real big or anything, but I felt better after I ped it.....I have no clue if that would have been a miscarriage or not.....A month after that happend, I found out that I was pregnant. Could I have been pregnant with twins and one of them just didnt make it in order to form? Sorry if there are some TMI parts in this question.

Car a/c question help?

when i first bought my 2000 firebird, whenever i ran the a/c there was very large amounts of water that pooled up under the vehicle. i knew a little water was normal, not a pool the size of my car. now no water comes out at all and there even is a strange metallic sound coming from the compressor. my mechanic suggested adjusting the a/c clutch for the sound. any other suggestions?

My transmission is slipping?

I got a 1980 firebird and the transmission keeps slipping ever since I put a new carb in (yesterday). Basically what it's doing is I'll go up to about 60/km then I take my foot right off the pedal and put it back on the engine starts reving but it seems like the torque converter won't engage until I rev it past 60/km. Painful ? (TMI)?

I've been ually active for four years and in the beginning, I experienced the normal pain that a newly ually active woman would experience. However, I never got to the pleasurable . Every time I have sex, it is incredibly painful especially at the entrance and it feels almost as though I'm tearing. No matter how much lube is used or how much we have, it is always excruciatingly painful. I know that at some point in a child's life they need to learn to fall asleep on their own. I was reading an article done by a child psychologist on how to make the transition easier for the kids and the parents. And what they had on there sounded like good ideas. Im just wondering what other parents have done to help their kids fall asleep by themselves. Also my son is only 3 months, when is a good time to start helping him fall asleep on his own? He sleeps very well now, sleeps through the night most days of the week. It just makes me feel bad when he wakes up in the middle of the night because I'm not standing right there and he knows that so I feel like he gets scared or frustrated. Now I understand that when I do start helping him with this it wont be an overnight thing and that's ok =)

What does too much cam lift do to a Small block chevy?

Mechanically, if the cam lift is too much for the valve springs, the springs will be 'smashed' down every cycle & you'll snap a valve spring ( or ten ) REAL QUICK. Air flow wise, if the heads can't move enough air compared to the flow that the valves can move, you'll just not use the extra lift & it's wasted. I would think that if there were to be a collapsed valve spring, you'd know it by now. Do you have roller rockers ?? If not, maybe pop off a valve cover & remove a rocker & look at the wear pattern on both ends & make sure the wear isn't going off the end of the rocker. Also, if you're still worried, you could go to a 'smaller' leverage rocker arm.

How much is my car worth? (1998 Pontiac Firebird)?

I recently bought a 1998 Firebird. Its a V6 Automatic Transmission. 86,000 orig. miles on it when I bought it. I figured it to be worth around $6,000-$7,000 (that's my judgement because I looked through hundreds of Firebirds and I consider myself somewhat of an amateur appraiser for them now). What I payed for it is considerably less than what I thought it was worth. I had it for about a week then the fuel pump started going bad. So I figured something like this would happen so I got a new pump installed. While it was at the shop I had them replace some seals, light bulbs and one or two leaks. After that I was sure that I had the car to the point where I wouldn't need to work on it anymore. I was wrong. About 2 weeks later a rod in my engine blew. Took it to the shop, they told me it would be $3500 for a new engine installed. If I were to try and sell this car what do some of you think its worth. 1998 Firebird with bran new engine, 86,000 or so miles on the body and transmission, new fuel pump. I would price it at about $9,000. Does that sound right? More? less? any opinion is helpful thanks.

You will need to pull your shift knob off. more than likely what happened is all that "forcing a sticky on" down has broke part of the plunger off the under side of the on. pull that off and see if you can stick a screw driver or pen in the shaft of the shifter, this should let you push down what the on would normally push down. if this is the case, buy a new button and your good to go.

im painting the headlight bezel (which is plastic) to a 1991 firebird using satin black krylon fusion. the first bezel i sprayed looked perfect but when i sprayed the fusion clear the paint started to chip. as for the second one when i painted it the first time, it had a few paint bubbles so i sanded them down and when i re sprayed it with the fusion satin black it chipped as well and every time i sand it it keeps doing the same thing.

Provided you're the same height, when you're 18 the least you can weigh without being underweight is 122 lbs. Random "small" gush at 36 weeks pregnant?!?

I was just filling up the dishwasher and i felt a warm gush. I looked and it wasn't completely clear like amniotic fluid is. It was mostly clear but had some milky white through it. It also wasn't a whole lot, im guessing maybe a few table spoons? It also had no scent what so ever. Im going to ask my doctor about this in the morning but im just wondering COULD it be amniotic fluid. I went through something similar with my first pregnancy but this doesn't seem like that. My first pregnancy i was leaking small amounts of amniotic fluid over a period of about 3 days. At first i thought it was just discharge but i had a funny feeling. I went to the hospital to get checked and it turned out it was amniotic fluid. I was sent home with my doctor thinking i would go into labour that night. I didn't and i ended up getting induced and having my waters fully broken by my doctor. I did end up with a c section but that's not really relevant. Also when i was leaking the fluid it was always completely clear, unlike this time. I have been getting more frequent braxton hicks lately but nothing today. Iv had no blood or brown discharge or pain or anything, the baby is still active. Like i said im going to inform my doctor about this but just wondering can amniotic fluid have milky white streaks through it? And it was completely watery not mucousy or stringy or anything. its a 1988 firebird trans am 305 tpi when i start it, it runs for a few seconds then dies, if i give it gas it doesn't stay on either but it stays on when i keep spraying starting fluid in it. so i bought a new fuel filter and this didnt help. could someone please help me. thanks

I purchased a property under my name with at that time my girlfriend whom I share a child with. Right now we broke up and parting our own ways. She does not want to move out nor pay for this place until I put her on the title of the house even though I told her that in this case I will have to move out, rent another place and stop paying for the current house (putting it in foreclosure). Slight pain in lower right side of abdomen.What's causing it ?

Since yesterday I have been having a slight pain in the very low part of the right side of my abdomen.The pain isn't bad at all though it does seem to get a little worst at night.I'm worried it could be appendicitis but I did some research about it and I don't appear to have the symptoms,at least I don't think so.I don't feel nauseous,I don't have a fever,I haven't lost my appetite,I can easily pinpoint where the pain is at,the pain doesn't seem to be spreading it stays in one place,it doesn't worsen when I walk or stand it just stays the same.However,this isn't really the first time I had this.I experienced this sort of pain probably one or two months ago. Will tonsil stones go away on their own?

I have had these before in my throat and they are very annoying! Being that you have strep now they are part of that. Taking antibiotics for your strep throat will help get rid of them. However, you could get them back after but not have Strep Throat. All these stones are are little white of bacteria that get stuck in the crevices of the tonsils. They are from food that becomes rotten and mucous. You could get a water pik which could help get rid of some of them. The tonsil stones are harmless though! Why does my mother keep treating me this way?

I can't tell you why your mum acts like this. Only she can. I think that you two should pick a day that you both can take off together and maybe have a little spa day together, either at home or a professional place and you should have some mother-daughter bonding time together and let her know how you feel and try to come to an agreement that will work for both of you. If that doesn't work, then I guess you'll have to wait till you can move out, but, even after you've moved out, try to maintain a good relationship with your mum. You never know, you might have a better relationship with you mum living away from her than you do living with her.

I've been doing my own little diet for the past 4 days, wanna try a week to see how it goes?

So I've been jump roping everyday, like 100 jumps. And all I eat is like Eggs for breakfast, no seasoning. Turkey dogs(no bread, just ketchup) and spinach for lunch, and Brocolli and a meat for dinner. Sometimes I dont eat the breakfast. I eat 2 or 3 times a day. I dont eat any starch items. Do you think I could possibly lose weight? I havent been to the gym since I started 4 days ago, i just want to see how it goes, but after the 7th day I'm going to continue this diet if it works, keep jump roping and go to the gym every night too. Firebird Headlight Question?

my 2000 firebird's headlights open and close just fine but it grinds as soon as the light is opened all the way. its like it trys to keep opening after it cant go any further and thats where the grind comes in. it closes and makes no sound at all. i replaced the plastic gear inside the headlight motor last night and it still does this today. I wouldn't try to chase after trying to find a Chevy LS1 engine and transmission. If you want to do something fun, it can be done within your budget easily. I'd get a Borg-Warner T-45 5-speed, and find a late model Chevy 350 truck engine, with a four-bolt main bearing. If you do it up with a 400 stroker crank, you can get the cubes out to 383. Since your car is computer driven, a fuel injection system would do you better, and would be closer to a LS1. Holley makes great injection systems that truly are complete kits, especially with their Avenger Stealth-Ram kit. With that setup, depending how you do pistons, heads and exhaust, you could easily hit anywhere between 475-580 horsepower, and you would have something that not everybody else has.

Phoenix/Firebird totem, but terrified of fire?

87 firebird trans am 305eng 700r4 trans?

i installed a 700r4 from a camaro berlinetta, nt sure what year. i believe it was an 86 nt sure what motor it had. But after i put it in it shift at like 1800 rpm from 1 to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd etc....all the way up. Never goes over 2000rpm unless wide open throttle and sometimes not even 2000 rpm. I never tried manually shifting it. I tried adjusting tv cable. Holding on, then pushing cable into slider lettin go of on then pushing throttle lever on carburator to wot. Still no change. Do i have to change governors or is this from a v6 please help.tell me how to correct this. I dont wanna burn this trans up. Thanks

Can anyone help with a running problem I am having with my 1989 Firebird?

My Firebird (1989, V6, 2.8L) has had a running problem lately, and I can't figure out what it is. I've heard MAF, TPS, and EGR, to this point. The MAF was just fixed and it ran better, but was still not running well. It has been dying while idle if I do not rev the engine, even at red lights, and this includes idling rough. It does start back easily, though. It also will jerk while driving down the road, particularly going uphill and trying to maintain speed or speed up. (Note: I thought at one point it may be the transmission because of the jerking while accelerating, but I had that checked and the transmission is in great shape.) Does anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Can my employer tell me i cannot wear a wig?

I don't like my hair at the moment so i'm trying to grow it out and i figured i'd get a wig so i don't have to deal with my actually hair while its in this in-between ugly stage. But when i wore it to work my boss told me its an extreme hairstyle and that i couldn't wear it unless i had a medical condition that makes me need it. EXTREMELY heavy period?

Okay, this may be a bit TMI but I really need help. I'm 13 and I woke up on Friday and found out I'd got my period again but it was quite light. I was glad because my periods are quite heavy usually. However I only came off my period on the 21st of may so this period was quite early. Anyways, today for some reason it came on REALLY heavy. I'm not joking. I soaked through a maxi pad, pyjama bottoms AND bedsheets and I'd only had the pad on for an hour. I've went through 3 pairs of underwear and 4 pads since I woke up and it's only 12:20 PM. I'm also having really bad cramps. I'm just really sick cause I can just feel it coming out ALL of the time and when I stand up I gush so I'm pretty much stuck in my room all day. What is wrong??

Is it normal for my bump to be getting really firm?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and over the last week my bump has become quite firm and I can no longer lie on it, even on the side of it. I know my tummy will become harder but is it normal at 4 months? I thought it would happen later. It feels really tight and I suddenly have a lot more gas (sorry TMI) whereas before I could not p any wind. Is it just my organs shifting around a bit that is making the gas? Sorry again but it's all so weird and my body is just freaking me out, I'm not used to the changes.

ok so my period usually comes around the same day of every month... well in april i didn't come at all but i did start on like may 2 or 3rd cant really remember...well today is thursday n on monday i was having these weird menstrual cramps but they were making me feel like i had to poop an i kinda felt a little nausea ( sorry tmi ) they were coming about once every hour just about the whole day...when i was telling my sis n law about it she said it sounded like i was stretching which i guess means when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterus it then begins to stretch to make room for the baby..me n my fiance have been ttc for awhile now n i know my period is late but since it was off last month im not sure how many days it exactly is late...so i could be prego or what do u think?? i took a hpt yesterday and it was negative so i could be prego n jus not far along enough to show up or idk....btw that was the only day these cramps appeared..please help
