TMI--but need some answers :) I am 34 weeks pregnant and had last night.?

went to the bathroom afterwards and there was a some bright red blood. not alot, total probally a dime size. I have not had this problem before now, but we also arent too active right now, for sometimes proves to be a little painful/uncomfortable. My ? is have you had this happen and is it normal the farther along you get? Thanks in advance
