How to get my car out of park?

You will need to pull your shift knob off. more than likely what happened is all that "forcing a sticky on" down has broke part of the plunger off the under side of the on. pull that off and see if you can stick a screw driver or pen in the shaft of the shifter, this should let you push down what the on would normally push down. if this is the case, buy a new button and your good to go.
