Caramel colored mucus in stool. (Sorry, TMI).?

I'm 16, and for about the past week I've had gas and a lot of dark yellow/tan mucus along with my stool. There's no blood, although I thought I saw a tiny spot of it today on the toilet paper. It could have been nothing though. Anyhow, sometimes all that comes out is this mucus substance. Sorry for all the details. Has anybody experienced something like this?
