Slight pain in lower right side of abdomen.What's causing it ?

Since yesterday I have been having a slight pain in the very low part of the right side of my abdomen.The pain isn't bad at all though it does seem to get a little worst at night.I'm worried it could be appendicitis but I did some research about it and I don't appear to have the symptoms,at least I don't think so.I don't feel nauseous,I don't have a fever,I haven't lost my appetite,I can easily pinpoint where the pain is at,the pain doesn't seem to be spreading it stays in one place,it doesn't worsen when I walk or stand it just stays the same.However,this isn't really the first time I had this.I experienced this sort of pain probably one or two months ago. My mom told me that maybe it's just a little muscle spasm and that she occasionally has it too but I don't know,I doubt it.Please tell me what is going on and what I can do.Dumb as it sounds,I have a tendency to ignore any possible health issues that occur,thinking that they'll go away on their own and they actually do.But this time I'm pretty concerned.
