Is it a faint or a evaportion line?

My last period was April 27th. I started spotting a week before my period. I only saw red or brown discharge when i wiped (sorry for tmi). When i was suppose to get my period i had a brown discharge only once. The first day i missed my period i threw up it felt like i was about to throw my actual stomach up. After that i had very bad cold symptoms and i still have chest congestion. My are sore, some of the veins in my are standing up. Im hungry but i cant eat because either it looks funny, smell funny or i get nausea right after. I finally took a hpt this morning at first i seen a line coming only in the result window and nothing in the control and then there was nothing no line at all so i figured it was invalid so i didnt wait the whole ten minutes i threw away and I got ready for work and left. i came home i thought about the test i pulled it out the garbage. the control line is clear as day and theres a faint line in the result window. It looks like the line that was trying to come. Very faint but just a little noticable at the bottom and get lighter going up. Should i trust it or no?
