How much is my car worth? (1998 Pontiac Firebird)?

I recently bought a 1998 Firebird. Its a V6 Automatic Transmission. 86,000 orig. miles on it when I bought it. I figured it to be worth around $6,000-$7,000 (that's my judgement because I looked through hundreds of Firebirds and I consider myself somewhat of an amateur appraiser for them now). What I payed for it is considerably less than what I thought it was worth. I had it for about a week then the fuel pump started going bad. So I figured something like this would happen so I got a new pump installed. While it was at the shop I had them replace some seals, light bulbs and one or two leaks. After that I was sure that I had the car to the point where I wouldn't need to work on it anymore. I was wrong. About 2 weeks later a rod in my engine blew. Took it to the shop, they told me it would be $3500 for a new engine installed. If I were to try and sell this car what do some of you think its worth. 1998 Firebird with bran new engine, 86,000 or so miles on the body and transmission, new fuel pump. I would price it at about $9,000. Does that sound right? More? less? any opinion is helpful thanks.
